If you wear your watch daily, you will not need to wind up your automatic Vertex timepiece. However, if it has been still for a while - for example. If you are putting it on for the first time after a period of inactivity, it will need to be wound briefly. Simply give the crown 20-30 spins until the seconds hand begins to move.

Shipping policy

Shipping is included by Royal Mail Special Delivery in the UK and DHL for rest of world. We are happy to work with other shipping companies on request.

If you are within the warranty timeframe, service is included.

Service outside of warranty is chargeable and the cost varies on a case-by-case basis. Vertex is focused on our customer experience and it is paramount to us that your watch is operating in full working order.

All Vertex watches are serviced and regulated before being shipped.

We have our own dedicated watch workshop in the UK.
Outside of the UK, we work with a select group of service providers. If you do not live near one of our service partners, we will find the closest support facility and work directly with them to resolve any issues.


The warranty on all Vertex watches is 5 years. The Warranty is not transferable.


UK returns are completely free of charge.

Orders can be cancelled any time until the item has been shipped.

If you wish to make a return, please notify us within 14 days of receiving the item.

Returned items should be unused and must be returned along with the original packaging as well as any enclosed documentation. A deduction will be made if the value of the item has been reduced due to signs of wear, use or mishandling. 

When you return a purchase, please ensure you use a secure and tracked method of delivery (e.g. Royal Mail Special Delivery or DHL).

When The Vertex Watch Company Ltd has received the returned item, it will be inspected before a refund is given.

The Vertex Watch Company Ltd will then process a refund which will take no longer than 14 days.

The refund will be issued to the original payment account. Note, it may take a further seven days for the refund to appear on the account balance.

For customers in the UK & EU: If there was a delivery charge for the item at the time of purchase, this will also be refunded.

A delivery refund does not apply to any purchases outside of the UK and EU.
